Yes indeed, Paleo (what’s that?) is a healthy, tasty eating mode that lots of folks (including many CrossFitters like us) have used to great effect… looking, feeling and WOD’ing better. But giving Paleo a try and staying with it can be a big shift. We take some of the shopping and cooking load off your plate. So you can enjoy fresh, yummy, Paleo-compliant meals (and some recipe inspiration for your kitchen), without the time and brain commitment of going it alone.
- Our trained chef makes fresh, original and delicious Paleo meals
- We deliver them twice weekly to the Power Supply fridge at your gym
- You pick them up after your WOD
- You heat ‘em and eat ‘em, saving time and enjoying more variety in your diet
- We listen to you and make more food, better
WOD for Wednesday:
10X 10 yd Resistance Band Sprints
Complete 5 rounds:
50 Mountain Climbers (25 each leg)
30 Second Rest
10 Weighted Sit-up with Plate Overhead
30 Second Rest
*Your job holding your partner's band- 5 yd build up feeling tension (job is to pull hard enough to feel aggressive lean)
*Technique- Forward lean, head straight ahead, alternating arms (arms dictate leg cadence)
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
RECOVER FROM LABOR DAY and REFOCUS-SEPTEMBER 15th- CF BALANCE 30 DAY PALEO CHALLENGE- Saturday, 9am-11am in the CrossFit Studio to meet. Alternative date will be at CF Dupont Monday, September 17th, from 6-8pm. During this time all participants, will have their measurements taken. There will be an approximate hour long seminar accompanied with handouts. All participants, please register on our website. The cost is $40. The winner will receive a free month membership. Good workout Danielle! Showed that I need more strength within my core. I like the partner exercise.
Able to do the 5 rounds in about 8-10 minutes. Extremely difficult to do the weighted sit-ups (2.5#)
13:24 w/25# plate. (45# first round, but proved too heavy)
Haven't done mountain climbers since the Army. Fun.
