Danielle Dionne
Danielle is a CrossFit Level I and Crossfit Endurance certified instructor, USA Weightlifting Club Coach, and is certified by the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. Danielle helps clients achieve their goals in a fun, effective, and safe way based upon her enthusiasm, diverse background as a competitive athlete, and knowledge drawn from 8 years of coaching and personal training experience. In 2003, she became a personal trainer and fitness/bootcamp instructor at Gold’s Gym; additionally, she taught bootcamp classes in the community, strength/conditioning classes at a Krav Maga Studio, and assisted coaching in a local high school lacrosse conditioning program.
Danielle draws experience as a former swimmer, and collegiate and club rugby player for the Maryland Stingers. After playing competitive sports she sought other outlets such as training for a marathon, boxing, and experimenting with strength and conditioning programs. Her commitment to the fitness industry and quest for an ideal program united with her discovery of CrossFit. She began “Crossfitting” at a “commercialized gym” stockpiled with traditional weightlifting machines. Seeking a less restrictive environment, and upon completing her CrossFit Level I certification, Danielle identified that her commitment to fitness extended beyond a client-trainer relationship to building a strong community, providing members with a motivating environment for success in pursuing their fitness and lifetime goals. “CrossFit creates a sport out of exercise and offers the camaraderie, challenges, and level of fitness, which I sought as an athlete and continue to seek in my daily training regime.
Danielle is currently a dedicated Crossfitter, who placed 8th at the Mid Atlantic Regional Qualifier, 3rd in the Last Chance Qualifier, and placed 37th in the 2009 CrossFit Games. “Train what you enjoy and most importantly what you dislike; exceed yourself.”
